
ABOUTJohn Thomas Baugh
John Thomas Baugh “Tommy” was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee and graduated from Central High School in Fountain City. After high school, Tommy attended Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina. In 1965, Tommy graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Law where his father served as General Counsel and taught civil procedure. After his bar admission, Tommy became an associate attorney at Kinnerly, Montgomery, and Finley until 1986. Tommy then opened a private practice in Dandridge, Tennessee where he served as general counsel for gas utility districts and Lincoln Memorial University.
